If you are fond of superbikes, then you will be happy to know that a new update has come for the Ducati Panigale V4 S. Ducati has introduced two new trims for the Panigale V4 S in the global market – Carbon and Carbon Pro.
These new trims not only improve the performance of the bike, but also make it stronger in design. In India too, Ducati has recently launched the Panigale V4 and Panigale V4 S, and now these new trims are another big gift for bike lovers.
Ducati Panigale V4 S Carbon Trim
Carbon trim features five-spoke carbon fibre wheels that are 0.950 kg lighter than the forged wheels on the Panigale V4 S. This has reduced the bike’s weight and also improved its agility. The bike now shows even more agility when making directional changes.
Also, this trim features front and rear mudguards as well as double-profile carbon fibre winglets. These winglets not only make the bike’s design more attractive, but also reduce its weight by 1 kg.
Ducati Panigale V4 S Carbon Pro Trim
The Carbon Pro trim features an exclusive Front Brake Pro braking system that is equipped with advanced carbon components. It comprises of two finned Brembo T-Drive discs measuring 338.5 mm in diameter and 6.2 mm in thickness that take braking power and performance to the next level.
The discs are based on the racing discs used in the Superbike World Championship and are mated to HypureTM calipers. Also, the front brake pump is the MCS 19.21 model, which is similar to the setup used in MotoGP and Superbike competitions.
Price
The Ducati Panigale V4 S is priced at ₹ 36.50 lakh (ex-showroom), while the standard variant is priced at ₹ 29.90 lakh. The main difference between the two models is the suspension system. The standard model comes with Showa BPF 43 mm forks and Sachs shocks, while the S variant gets Ohlins NPX forks and Ohlins TTX36 shocks. Apart from this, the V4 S uses forged aluminum wheels, which has reduced its weight by 4 kg and the total weight has come down to 187 kg.
