Under this scheme, women aged 21 to 60 years, whose annual income is less than Rs 2.5 lakh, will be eligible for financial assistance. The government will provide financial assistance of Rs 2,500 every month to enable financially weak women to achieve self-reliant status.

According to a Delhi government official, the eligibility and other conditions of the scheme were discussed in a meeting chaired by the Chief Secretary. The Cabinet meeting will soon present the prepared scheme draft for final approval. Once the scheme receives approval, we will initiate the registration process.

According to sources, BJP President J.P. Nadda, Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta, and senior party leaders will attend the launch event of Mahila Samridhi Yojana. On this occasion, a special function will be organised at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, where online registration for the scheme will start, and some beneficiaries will be symbolically given the amount.
