Brands like Kia, Maruti Suzuki and Tata are set to launch their new electric SUVs in 2025. 2025 Kia EV6 Facelift
Kia introduced its facelifted EV6 crossover at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025. Its new design and upgraded features were well received by the people. Although its price has not been announced yet, its pre-booking has started at dealerships in India.
The new EV6 has a larger 84 kWh battery pack, which gives the RWD variant a range of 494 km. This is 19 km more than the previous version. Apart from this, this battery supports 350 kW DC fast charging, which allows the battery to be charged from 0 to 80% in just 18 minutes.
Maruti Suzuki e Vitara
Maruti Suzuki is bringing the e Vitara to strengthen its hold in the electric vehicle market. It was first introduced at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025, and has created a lot of buzz. This electric SUV will be sold through Nexa dealerships.
e Vitara will come with two battery options, which will provide a range of more than 500 km. It will have features like ADAS, large touchscreen infotainment system, fully digital instrument cluster, ventilated seats, automatic climate control and 6 airbags.
Tata Harrier EV
Tata has already announced that the Harrier EV will be launched by the end of this financial year. It will make its place in the midsize electric SUV segment. The Harrier EV will offer a peak torque of 500 Nm and will be given a dual-motor setup, which will support a 4WD system.
It will have two battery options, which will offer a range of more than 500 km. The Harrier EV will share many similarities with Tata’s Curvv EV.
